To submit your résumé, email
it to the webmaster with your name and résumé as the subject. The following formats
are acceptable:
- OpenOffice.org (FREE) - .sxw
- PDF (Portable Document File) - .pdf
- Word document - .doc
If you use OpenOffice.org 1.1 or later, you can save your résumé directly to PDF format. If you send your résumé
in a .doc or .sxw file format, your résumé will be converted to the PDF file format before it is posted.
OpenOffice.org is an open source (meaning you may download, copy, distribute freely) office suit that is available for
Linux (open source operating system), Mac OS X, Solaris (Sun Microsystems version of Unix), and versions of Windows. You may
download a copy of OpenOffice.org directly from the OpenOffice.org website by clicking here. The Java Runtime Environment is optional* for OpenOffice.org. If you don't have the Java Runtime Environment
installed on your OS (Operating System), then you may want to download the Java Runtime Environment, too. You can download the Java Runtime Environment from Sun Microsystems' (the maker and owner of the Java Runtime Environment) website
here. Once you follow the link, Look for:
- Download J2SE v 1.4.2_04
- JRE
- Download to the right of your OS name
Windows users should download the "Windows Installation" under "JRE" and is 14.52 MB (A floppy disk is 1.44 MB).

If you have a dial up account at home, I suggest you download your copy in one of the open computer labs and then
