College Shines in USF Faculty and Staff Campaign

Year after year, current and retired faculty and staff at the College of Business Administration give generously to the Faculty and Staff Campaign for the University of South Florida. The primary emphasis of this campaign is to fund scholarships for USF students, and well over 60% of the College's employees participated in this year’s event.

“The commitment from the individuals within the College of Business Administration is evident, and greatly appreciated,” said Shannon McGorry, Assistant Director of the USF Fund.  “The participation from the College of Business is among the highest within the entire University.”

The College's campaign Chairperson was Director of Employer Relations, Megan Newman, and over $46,000 was raised by our faculty and staff alone.

“When you plant a seed, USF will receive a harvest,” said Accounting Instructor Theresa Price. “Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends will benefit from the harvest.”

Special thanks go to Megan, as well as the College's area representatives: Murad Antia (Finance Department), Barb Bushnell (Dean’s Office and other Departments), Jerry Koehler (Management Department), Kris Manning (Small Business Development Center), Ron Satterfield (Information Systems/Decision Sciences Department), Brad Schafer (Accounting Department), Jill Solomon (Marketing Department) and Chris Thomas (Economics Department). Thanks also go to all who participated in this year’s campaign!
