Freshmen or sophomores who join our roster of “First-Generation Business Bulls” are eligible for many, but not all, of the workshops and activities afforded Corporate Mentor Program participants.  First-Generation Business Bulls are not yet eligible for corporate mentoring, but prepare for the program.

Opportunities provided those registered as First-Generation Business Bulls:

Dedicated Advisor  -
students will be assigned to a College of Business academic advisor who focuses solely on first-generation students during their entire academic career with the College
Access -
students may choose to participate in a special UE course with students from similar backgrounds and are able to enjoy some of the Corporate Mentor Program workshops
Priority -
students receive priority admission to the Corporate Mentor Program in their junior year, when they become eligible for matching with a mentor.
