Miriam Stamps
Chair and Associate Professor
Miriam Stamps is Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Marketing Department at the University of South Florida. She received her Ph.D. at Syracuse University in 1982 and joined the faculty at USF in August 1982. Her teaching interests are in International Marketing and Consumer Research. Her research interests are in market segmentation, consumer behavior, and social marketing. She has published in the Journal of Leisure Research, Journal of Marketing Education, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Journal of Business Research, and Industrial Marketing Management. She also co-authored a book chapter in the publication, Advertising Research: The Internet, Consumer Behavior and Strategy. She has presented her work at both national and international conferences and is currently serving as Co-chair of the 2008 AMS Multi-Cultural Conference.
