Yancy Edwards
Assistant Professor

Yancy Edwards received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing) from The Ohio State University, and his M.S. and A.C.P.M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University. His research involves building models that are more insightful and predictive of consumer behavior. These insights are used to develop and improve product development, promotion, market segmentation, and target marketing activities. Yancy’s modeling interests are in psychological and econometric models using Bayesian and Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods. Yancy has taught Marketing Research, Information Technology Applications in Marketing, and International Marketing. Prior to receiving his Ph.D., Yancy worked eight years with Bell Atlantic (now called Verizon) of which five were in high-profile marketing research projects for three of Bell Atlantic’s strategic business units.
