Jegoo Lee
Assistant Professor
Jegoo Lee joined the management department as an assistant professor in the College of Business in 2009. His teaching interests include business ethics/corporate responsibility, strategic management, social entrepreneurship, international business ethics, and research methods (statistical data analysis and social network approach).
His research curiosity aims at the following two issues: First he focuses on the way moral or immoral behaviors emerge from the interactions among actors trying to use social relationships for desirable results. The second research focus is assessing the anticipatory factors and impacts of responsible corporate behavior. He is extending these approaches to ethical leadership, institutional entrepreneurship process, and effective collaboration networks.
He earned his Ph.D. at Boston College, and studied at University of Chicago, Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, and Yonsei University in South Korea. Before coming to the academe, he has worked as a social entrepreneur at Bangkok, Thailand, and as a research consultant at Seoul, Korea. He enjoys modern architecture and classical music, piano and cello pieces. An avid sports fan, he loves playing, watching, coaching and researching soccer.
