On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences, at the University of South Florida, I would like to welcome you to our department. We are a department of 23 full time faculty members offering courses in Tampa, Sarasota and Lakeland campuses. We offer a B.S. degree as well as a minor in Management Information Systems. At the graduate level, we offer a Masters of Science degree in MIS, an MIS concentration in the MBA program, and a Ph.D. degree.

Our faculty members are involved in quality research, and have published in some of the leading journals in our field. We are also home to Bear Stearns Research Center, a facility where many externally funded research projects have been undertaken.

We have strong ties to industry in the Tampa Bay area.  With a group of top IT executives from the Tampa Bay area as members of the advisory board, we strive to make our curriculum current in the face of ever changing IT landscape.
