Teaching Approach and Experience

I seek to deliver skills in addition to knowledge in every course, while stimulating interest in the subject matter. To date, I have drawn on extensive global technology management experience to teach global information systems, information systems in organizations, electronic commerce, data communications, and research methods and statistics, along with management courses including business leadership and ethics, business communications, and managing diversity. I have taught traditional students as well as managers, and I am comfortable working with executives.

EVALUATIONS
I am providing Fall 2007 evaluations as evidence of teaching excellence under exceptional circumstances. During the semester, I taught three different courses, two of them new preps; conducted a longitudinal experiment culminating in 86 one-on-one interviews with substantial administrative overhead; collected longitudinal survey data for another study; submitted one new paper as first author; submitted a revise and resubmit as first author; and presented my dissertation at the ICIS doctoral consortium. The ratings are on a five point scale.
