The Career Center has helped thousands of students find career-related experience and professional-level employment with hundreds of local, statewide and national employers. They provide career and job search services to students in the College of Business which include: Career Planning and Job Search Coaching, Career Networking Fairs, Virtual Job Fairs, Online Job Listing Service, On-campus Interviews, Online Employer Resume Referrals and Virtual Video Interviews.
Appointments may be scheduled with Diane Mellon, the Career Center’s professional career counselor and job search coach for business students. Ms. Mellon can critique resumes, help with interview and job search skills, and explain how to effectively use the Career Center’s many services. To schedule an appointment, call 974-2171. In order to access the many employers in the Career Center’s job search and recruitment database, students will need a Career Connections account, which allows them to upload a resume, view and submit résumés for job opportunities, e-mail employers in the database, and apply for and schedule on-campus interviews. Employers can also search the database for résumés of qualified students.
