The Department of Finance at the University of South Florida is
searching for a highly qualified individual to fill an instructor
position. Required qualifications include: Minimum of a master's
degree and at least 18 graduate hours completed in finance courses;
the successful candidate should have previous teaching experience,
be able to teach courses in corporate finance and investments, and
have outstanding communications skills. Preferred qualifications:
Doctorate or ABD in
finance or financial economics. Salary is competitive.

The College of Business Administration offers degrees in six functional areas to more than
7,100 students. The College offers a traditional MBA program as well
as Executive programs for business professionals and physicians.
There are 500 undergraduate students who major in finance. The Department of Finance also
offers a Master of Science in Finance (MSF) degree and a Ph.D.
degree. Faculty members in the department are active in a variety of research and teaching areas. The research produced by current faculty members has been published in top academic journals, including Journal of Finance,
Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Business, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Financial Analysts Journal, and Journal of International Business Studies.
