Their research also appears in many other prestigious journals, ranging from those covering specialized areas, such as banking (Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Money Credit, and Banking), international business (Journal of International Business Studies), international finance (Journal of International Money and Finance), market microstructure (Journal of Financial Markets), and real estate (Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research, and Real Estate Economics), to those with a broader appeal, such as Financial Management, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Empirical Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Management Science, and others.

The department has placed its doctoral students in several institutions, including Bentley College, College of Charleston, Emporia State University, Louisiana Tech University, SUNY Oswego, and others.
