Greetings from the Chair . . .

Welcome to the USF Department of Finance. We hope that you will find the information we provide helpful to you when making academic and career decisions. If you don't find the information you need, please let us know. We look forward to any comments or other feedback you might wish to offer.

The Department of Finance is located within the College of Business. We have 12 faculty members and two full-time staff members. We offer Bachelor, Master, and Ph. D. degrees in Finance, and we also offer finance-related tracks in the MBA program .

The Finance Department prepares graduates for rewarding careers in all areas of financial management and decision-making. Careers in finance offer many different opportunities in a variety of diverse and dynamic industries. The general areas of employment include corporate finance, investments, banking and financial institutions, and financial services. The curriculum we offer in the Department of Finance is designed to give students flexibility and up-to-date knowledge in their preparations for specific finance-related jobs.
