Don Bellante is Professor of Economics at the University of South Florida. Before coming to the University of South Florida, he taught at Auburn University. He was born in Meriden, CT and received a B.S. degree from Bryant College, an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Ph.D. from Florida State University. He is a specialist in Labor Economics, particularly in the topics of regional labor markets, migration and immigration. His hobbies are watching football, playing tennis, and visiting ancient ruins.
