Theresa Price joined the College of Business Administration in 1992 after gaining public accounting experience with Price Waterhouse in Pittsburgh, PA. and most recently serving as Controller with U.S. Home Mortgage in Clearwater, FL. Theresa earned a Bachelor of Science from the Pennsylvania State University with a major in accounting and a Master of Accounting from the University of Florida. Theresa is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Information Systems Auditor, a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant, and Certified Internal Auditor.
Theresa serves as an instructor and advisor in the School of Accountancy at the University of South Florida. Her teaching concentrations include auditing and managerial accounting. In addition, Theresa oversees the advising function for the graduate students in the Master of Accountancy program. For over a decade, Theresa has coordinated the planning of the Accounting Circle Conference and the Accounting Circle Welcome-Back Picnic.
Theresa is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, Information Systems Audit and Control Association, and Institute of Internal Auditors. In addition, she volunteers as a chaperone and judge for the International Baccalaureate national team members of the King High School Speech & Debate Team.
