Maureen Butler
Assistant Professor

Maureen G. Butler is an Assistant Professor in the School of Accountancy at the University of South Florida.  Her research focuses on managerial accounting issues and capital markets.  Dr. Butler earned a B.S. from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas.  Prior to entering academia, Dr. Butler served in the U.S. Army Finance Corps and worked as a staff accountant.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the American Accounting Association.
