the Basic Economic Development Course
USF's
Basic Economic Development Course is a three-day course designed to serve as an
introduction to economic development and to prepare individuals for the CEcD exam.
A diverse and experienced faculty, composed of both academicians and practitioners,
provide an excellent blend of theory and practice. Since participation and
discussion are strongly encouraged, the size of the class will be limited; therefore,
prospective attendees should register as early as possible.
Accreditation

The course, fully
accredited by the International
Economic Development Council, focuses
on techniques for formulating and implementing economic development
strategies and programs. Certificates of completion will be
awarded to all participants who fulfill attendance requirements.
